Crispy Peanut Butter Balls

These make the perfect little dessert or sweet snack. Just remember, all things in moderation. Even healthy recipes can become unhealthy if we consume too much. I say that because these are that good.  Only 5 ingredients.

Crispy Peanut Butter Balls

Gluten Free + Dairy Free

Servings 1 dozen


  • 1 cup rice crispy cereal
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Heat the peanut butter, maple syrup, salt and vanilla in a pot over low heat until it all melts together. Stir well.

  2. Remove from heat. Add rice cereal to pot and gently stir until rice is covered with mixture.

  3. Scoop Tbsp size servings onto parchment paper or silicone mat. 

  4. When mixture has cooled enough to do so, roll into balls.

I love my silicone mats and use them all the time. If you don't have any, I would invest in a set of them. These aren't the exact brand I have, but they are FDA approved, non-toxic and a great price: silicone mats

Rice Cereal:

Look for rice cereal that is organic or non-gmo. Whole grain is best. I used this brand: rice cereal.

This brand has zero sugar added: Nature's Path Organic

Peanut Butter:

Look for peanut butter that has no added sugar or oils in the ingredients. Organic is best.
